为了进一步增进非洲学生对上海的了解，促进上海师范大学与非洲高校间的交流合作，推动非洲学生对中国文化的体验，我校承办2019年上海市外国留学生政府奖学金暑期学校非洲项目。

To enhance the mutual understanding between Shanghai and more African cities, to promote the further cooperation between Shanghai Normal University (SHNU) and African universities, Shanghai Summer School (Africa Program), a Shanghai government scholarship program hosted by SHNU, will be held this summer.

本次非洲项目将以“中国传统文化”为主题，开设初级汉语读说等课程，并将中国传统文化如汉字、文学、手工艺、中医药、武术、民乐、建筑、烹饪等内容融入课程体系中，还将安排参观东方明珠、豫园、浦江夜游等上海名胜古迹。此外，学校非洲研究中心师生将与学员深入交流，探讨中非关系等议题，分享学校在非洲研究方面的成果。

With the theme of “Chinese Language and Culture”, The program is combined of primary Chinese speaking and reading classes, and a series of Chinese traditional culture workshops onChinese Characters,Literature, Handicrafts, Medicine, Martial Arts, Folk Music, Architecture and Cooking, etc. Shanghai city tour including visits to Oriental Pearl TV tower, Old Town, Night Cruise on Huangpu River will be organized. In addition, the faculty and students of the African Studies Center of SHNU will communicate with the participants, exchange views on the Sino-African Relations and share the research findings of related areas.

建议航班信息：6月30日9:00至16:00抵达上海浦东国际机场，7月27日10:00至17:00离开上海浦东国际机场

Flight suggested: Arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport between 9:00 to 16:00 on June 30; Take off from Shanghai Pudong International Airport between 10:00 to 17:00 on July 27.

奖学金获得者：免学费、餐费、住宿费、计划内的景点门票和市内交通费（不包含国际机票）。

自费参加：需要支付5000元项目费（包含学费、住宿费、计划内景点门票和市内交通费），不包含国际机票及餐费。

Scholarship:

Full Scholarship covers tuition, room and boardon campus,scheduled visits (tickets and local transportation).International Airfare is excluded and shall be borne by students themselves.

Self-supported students should pay RMB5000 per person, covering tuition, accommodation, scheduled visits (tickets and local transportation). Meals and International Airfare are also at students’ own cost.

住宿标准：双人间，包括电话、电视、WIFI、书桌、衣柜、空调、冰箱和独立卫浴

Dorm: shared twin room with internet access, telephone, TV, air-conditioning, refrigerator and bath room.

申请者应是非洲各高校在册学生，对短期上海游学感兴趣，接受汉语零起点教学，具有良好的英语基础。

Qualifications: Applicants should be currently-registered native students in African universities, who are interested in a short study tour in Shanghai. Applicants are not required of Chinese proficiency but should be good in English.

申请过程：学生需在网上提交申请，网址：https://apply.shnu.edu.cn（在线申请时，需提交个人照片、护照及学校推荐信的扫描件，请学生在正式开始申请前准备好）。网上申请截止日期为5月5日。收到录取信息后，请立即购买国际机票，并将电子版机票证明于5月30日以前发送至联系人邮箱。无机票证明者视为自动放弃名额。

Application: Applicants should submit application online at apply.shnu.edu.cn (Applicants are required to upload personal photo, copy of passport and the recommendation letter from the home university when they apply.) The application deadline is May 5. Applicants should purchase the international flight tickets as soon as they get the admission results. Copy of the flight ticket (or flight booking sheet) should be sent to the contact person by email before May 30^th. Those who fail to provide the valid flight tickets before the deadline are considered as quit.

签证：上海师范大学出具来华签证申请表和录取通知书，学生可以去中国使领馆申请来华X签证。

Visa: SHNU will process the visa affairs by sending the Visa Application Form and Admission Notice to the applicants, who may apply for X visa in the Embassy or Consul General of China.

其他说明：

1. 接送机服务：学校为2019年6月30日9：00-16：00抵达上海浦东国际机场的参加者提供接机服务；并为搭乘7月27日10：00-17：00的航班从浦东国际机场离沪回国的参加者提供送机服务。如在上述时间外到达或离沪的参加者需自行负担学校与机场间的交通费。

2. 住宿费：提前到校或推迟回国所产生的住宿费由学生自行负担。

REMARKS：

1. Pick-up and Send-off Service: SHNU provides pick-up service to participants arriving at Shanghai Pudong International Airport from 9:00 to 16:00 on June 30, and send-off service to Shanghai Pudong International Airport from 10:00 to 17:00 on July 27. Participants should bear the transportation fee between the airport and SNU if their arrival or departure is beyond the above period.

2. Accommodation fee: Students arriving at SHNU before June 30 or leaving after July 27 should bear the additional accommodation fee.
